About the Workshop

Every fall, Tri-State and the University of Pittsburgh Athletics Department co-host the NCAA Update, with the support of the Western Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic League.  This half-day workshopNCAA Update is held in the Petersen Events Center and is ideal for athletic directors, coaches, guidance counselors, high school principals, and district-level administrators.

Participants learn about important changes to NCAA rules for initial eligibility and financial aid, NCAA Eligibility Center requirements, non-traditional coursework, recruiting, and other hot topics, as well as WPIAL bylaw updates and AD issues.  During the full breakfast, attendees network with University of Pittsburgh Coaches and Athletics staff.
