Based in the School of Education at the University of Pittsburgh, Tri-State’s vast knowledge and experience base draws upon a membership of over 100 school districts and a team of leaders and consultants with rich backgrounds in education, including former school superintendents and professors of education.

Founded in 1948, the Tri-State Area School Study Council is focused on helping school districts build their organizational capacity. It draws on the strengths of its members and on the faculty experts at the University of Pittsburgh.
